It is a good introduction to yoga because it is the foundation of the discipline, showing the most authentic root of the techniques of physical yoga in its traditional form combined with mind and soul enhancement.

Your Hatha Yoga Practice

Created in the XV century by the Indian yogi Suatmarama, this practice is a spiritual work that begins in the body. On one hand, Hatha means “force” and this is related to the body and to life itself. When you break it up ‘HA’, means “sun” and ‘THA’ means ”moon”, so Hatha Yoga is the yoga of the opposites and the balance. Through asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing control), energy locks (mudras) and meditation (dhyana), it helps to develop a balance between strength and flexibility, with body mind and soul in harmony.
